心得：

　　這一次的課程是RDA的實作練習，藉由1-3的規定，來去著錄之前的作業。先去下載講義，並把解釋作中文翻譯，了解定義後去找尋作品的資料，並跟同學討論、分析，最後把完成編輯，這是這一次課程上學習的流程。

　　而在先前的作業我是用中國編目規則來處理作品的書目資料，這次改用RDA，發現一些兩者的不同之處。簡言之，RDA所記錄的比較廣泛，項目也比較少，但也比較適用於各種情況的書籍，算是比較全面性。

心得：

　　今天的課程是資訊描述與檢索(Resource Description and Access)，即為資源描述和檢索的，共有十篇三十七章外加附錄。而今天的課程針對導論做詳細的介紹。

　　特色(fratures)：RDA看到的是一個框架(framework)，RDA不會單獨存在，也並非全世界在使用，而是與其他標準共存，像是AACR、ISBD、MARC21 Format等



　　RDA的目的與範圍(Purpose and Scope)

RDA provides a set of guidelines and instructions on recording data to support resource discovery.

●The data created using RDA to describe a resource are designed to assist users performing the following tasks:

Find─i.e., to find resources that correspond to the user’s stated search criteria(能夠找得到)

Identify─i.e., to confirm that the resource described corresponds to the resource sought, or to distinguish between two or more resources with similar characteristics(知道是自己所要的)

Select─i.e., to select a resource that is appropriate to the user’s needs(選擇自己所要的)

Obtain─i.e., to acquire or access the resource described.(決定要拿得到才算數)



●The data created using RDA to describe an entity associated with a resource(a person, family, corporate body, concept, etc.) are designed to assist users performing the following tasks:

Find─i.e., to find information on that entity and on resources associated with the entity(能夠找得到)

Identify─i.e., to confirm that the entity described corresponds to the entity sought, or to distinguish between two or more entities with similar names, etc.(找到是要的)

Clarify─i.e., to clarify the relationship between two or more such entities, or to clarify the relationship between the entity described and a name by which that entity is known(澄清這些名字關係)


Understand─i.e., to understand why a particular name or title, or form of name or title, has been chosen as the preferred name or title for the entity.(理解為何是這個名字)

心得：

　　今天的課程延續了上周，更進一步地介紹書目記錄的功能需求-最終報告。一開始先以學長的例子作為開頭講解，之後依序講義解釋每一項的內容及範例。這次的課程教得相當仔細，能清楚的理解每一項所代表的意思。

　　同一個題材的內容，即使主題一樣，若作者不同的話，亦劃分為不同的作品。
